v0.8.4 - Loot the Rooms!


This version introduces a new 'Lootility' ability, which let's you loot a Room. Depending on chance, you either get an Item, Nothing, or a new Monster appears. Here is the full changelog:

New Features

  • Lootility
    If you are not in Combat and not in the Start-Room, you can choose to loot the Room. It costs one of your Stamina-Points and can be done once per Room per Turn.
    If the Lootility-Action is available, a Magnifier-Icon is displayed next to your character and can be selected instead of selecting a Floor.
    As mentioned, you might find an Item, a Monster, or Nothing. Items will be auto-equipped, just like Loot after combat
  • Dropped Items stay in the Room
    If a Character drops an Item (currently this can happen only if a Character dies), his Items stay in the Room. This is indicated by a Loot-Sack in the lower right corner of a Room. The Items in the Loot-Sack can be picked up via a Lootility-Action
  • Modifier-Icon on Items
    Equippable Items have an Icon now that shows what they modify (Strength, Health, Stamina...) together with the modifier value (+1, +2...). Some of the Equipments where changed to give more Strength.
  • Additional Floor Types
    In addition to the already existing Passages, Walls and Brittle Passages were added. Obviously, Walls can't be walked through, while Brittle Passages cost on extra Stamina-Point

New Content

  • Added Monster 'Uncommen Dungeon Porcupine'
  • Added Item 'Boots of Hearts', which increase your Health-Point Limit by one
  • Added Item 'Boots of Stamina' which increase your Stamina-Point Limit by one
  • Added Item 'Healthy Ham' which gives you a Health-Point
  • Added Item 'Potion of Endurance' which gives you a Stamina-Point

Bugfixes

  • Under certain circumstances, when choosing a Floor, the Selection System asked multiple times for input, causing an issue with any further selections.
